Peace, Love and Freedom are Divine qualities - Principles many of us take for granted.
But these basic rights elude thousands of people living right here among us.
Slavery and human trafficking is a thriving business in the modern world, second only to drug trafficking as a source of illicit income.
Victims who are lucky enough to escape have scant few resources to aide them. Afraid, often unable to speak the language, and with no one to trust, they feel they have nowhere to turn and now one to help them.
That's why, this year, the Peace NOW! Spirit Music Festival is proud to partner with CAST (Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking) to truly make a difference in the lives of people who struggle for the barest of human dignity.

Did you know more people are slaves today than ever before? Men, women and children are enslaved as commodity for sex, forced labor and indentured servitude. Among slaves, children are the most vulnerable and their rights are the least recognized.
- 12.3 million people are enslaved today worldwide.
- More than one million people are enslaved in the U.S. today.
- Two million children are bought and sold in the global commercial sex trade.
- The global sex slavery market generates $32 billion in profits each year.
- Every 10 minutes, a woman or child is trafficked into the United States for forced labor.
Based in Los Angeles, CAST remains the only organization in the country that offers social services, shelter, and legal services to victims of the modern day slave trade.
